Hello from the Ablaze Student Ministry Team! Ablaze exists to glorify God by encouraging and equipping students in their pursuit of loving God, loving others, and making disciples. We are passionate about helping students live an abundant life by glorifying God in all the earth. We partner with parents as they lead their family to glorify God. One of the ways we do that is by connecting students in a Life Group on Wednesday evenings, and by gathering students collectively for Ignite Student Worship on Sunday mornings.

Ablaze Student Ministry Life Groups meet every Wednesday from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the CrossBridge Community Center for 6th-12th Grade students. Doors open at 6:00pm for fellowship, games, and there is also a snack bar that is open to buy pizza, munchies, and drinks.

Why Student Life Groups?

We strategically place students in Life Groups based on their grade and gender and interests of 6 - 10 students. Student Life groups are a safe place to develop great friendship and to grow deeper in your faith. Guys and girls meet separately by grade with a couple of adult leaders.  This environment is the place where real change can happen as we get God's Spirit, God's Word, and God's people together.

Ignite Student Worship meets every Sunday at 9:00am or 11:00am in Buildings A and B, for 6th-12th Grade students.

What should you and your student expect?
Our Middle + High School students gather collectively to be the Church! Everyone meets together for a time of community, food, and games, in Building B. Then we gather for worship and teaching in Building A. We present biblical teaching targeted to the life stage of teens and issues unique to them. Students engage each other in a discussion group designed to help them "talk it out."

Students are the Church!
Ignite Student Worship happens, because CrossBridge students make it happen. Students are encouraged to volunteer to be a part of the worship team, set-up team, and servant leadership team.

Family Worship Sundays
From time to time, our students and adults gather together in the main building for the 9 or 11 a.m. worship service. (In July our children join us, too!)  We know that students like to connect with one another on Sunday mornings, so we do that a couple times a month, but the entire church body needs the opportunity to worship and encounter truth together in the same environment. Having an intergenerational Sunday morning experience is good for everyone, young and old! Many of our students worship with their families as well as attending Ignite on those Sundays, because they love both settings!
