Kirk Freeman, Lead Pastor
A Texas native, Kirk spent ten years working in the publishing industry prior to God's leading him
into pastoral
ministry. He served as executive pastor at NorthWood Church in the DFW metroplex before moving to San Antonio to help start
CrossBridge. Kirk and his wife, Debbie, have known each other since elementary school, though they didn't get married until
junior high (just kidding). They have been close friends for nearly 25 years and married since 1993 (Kirk was slow to
recognize that friends can make great mates). They have three sweet children and enjoy spending time as a family and alone
as a couple…when they can arrange it.

Reneé Bachman, Children's Pastor
Graduating from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in journalism, Renée moved from her native Illinois to Austin, Texas
in 1983. She worked for an Austin consulting firm, the Austin American-Statesman, and Texas Monthly magazine prior to
becoming a stay-at-home mom in 1994. Renée served in various ministries in their church in Austin including children's
Sunday School, preschool choir, adult discipleship, prayer team, and Salt & Light ministries. In 2003, Renee and her
husband, Chris, moved to his native San Antonio with their three children - Luke, Anna, and Reagan. She and Chris have a
passion to ground their children in the truths of God's Word, to train them in lifelong habits of spending time with God in
His Word, in prayer, in serving others, in telling others, and laying the foundation for a lifelong relationship with our
Savior. "We do not know the culture our kids will impact for Christ. I want my kids - all kids - to be the rock in the
middle of the stream that changes the course of the river."

Chris Dillashaw, Youth Pastor
Chris brings years of experience to our student ministry. He’s worked in church youth groups and has been a keynote speaker
for Super Summer Camps. He’s a native to San Antonio, but isn’t a homebody. Over the last five years, Chris has traveled
with an international ministry that has taken him to 25 different countries. With this global experience and passion for
reaching the nations, Chris challenges our students to go deeper with Christ and get out of the San Antonio bubble. Chris
and his wife, Ann Marie have two daughters.

Shawn Sullivan, Missions Pastor
Before coming with CrossBridge, Shawn was a missionary with GEM (Greater Europe Mission) and worked as a church planter in
Europe for 13 years. He has a BS in Computer Engineering and a ThM from Dallas Seminary. Shawn served as the Southeastern
Europe Area Director for GEM from 1998 until 2001 and most recently was working in the area of helping foster church
planting movements in Western Europe. As Glocal Missions Pastor, Shawn’s role is to connect us outwardly in world missions and church starting. His wife, Becky and his three children,
Joshua, Andrew and Katie are the joy of his life.

Brian Hannas, Connecting Pastor
Brian was born in Winchester, Virginia, then moved to Maryland, outside of Baltimore and his whole family moved to Waco, Texas
in 1981, where his family still resides. He graduated from Baylor University in 1989 and coached High school basketball for
14 years with coaching stops in Coppell, Mt. Pleasant, Texarkana, and Everman. Brian coached most recently at Everman High
School, where they were Regional Finalists in 2001 and in 2002. In 2003, Brian's team won the Texas Class 3A State
Championship going 33-6. Brian and his beautiful wife Debbie have 3 daughters: Katie, Courtney, and Camryn. Married since
1989, the Hannas’ are blessed! Brian left a very successful coaching career to follow God's leading by accepting the call of
Adult Minister at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church in Mansfield, Texas in August of 2004. He is full of leadership, energy and
brings an incredible passion for Christ, connection, and an enthusiasm for joining God in His redemptive mission in the
world.

Andrea Tabler, Women’s Ministry Coordinator
A native of Monroe, LA, Andrea graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1984 with a degree in — and desire to pursue —
public relations. She subsequently headed to southern California where she would meet her future husband and love of her life,
Tom, who (thankfully!) introduced her Christ. After their first child was born, Andrea began a home-based advertising and P.R.
business that relocated to various cities as the family moved several times with Tom’s career, finally settling in San Antonio
in 2001. Tom and Andrea have two teenage boys, Patrick and Trevor, who attend a local Christian school where Andrea is also
the Development Director. The family became members of CrossBridge just after it started, and God soon began to create a
passion in Andrea’s heart to minister to women, to encourage them to connect and grow so that they might know Christ more and,
as a result, see their families grow closer to Jesus. She is excited to see this growth in the women of CrossBridge and looks
forward to what God has planned for this ministry this year.

Meggan and Landon Wood, College and Young Professionals
Meggan and Landon both worked in the corporate world (Landon still does) prior to coming to CrossBridge and leading our
ministry to college students and young professionals. Meggan graduate from Mary Hardin Baylor in 1999 and Landon graduated
from plain ol’ Baylor in 2001. They have a passionate desire to see college students and young professionals walk with
Jesus through discipleship and accountability reaching there campuses, Oikos and the nations of the world.

Eric Teague, Ministry Teams Coordinator
Eric is a native of the thriving metropolis of Alpine, Texas and enjoys teaching scripture, discipling and training
believers. God has given him a deep love for the Hispanic/Latino population around the world and a passion for missions and
evangelism. He has a strong love for the outdoors and creatively thinking about design, function, and structure. He also
takes pleasure in working with wood, and building things from scratch—which comes in handy at CrossBridge! Each week Eric
coordinates the setup crew, greeters, ushers, welcome table staff and lots more to make CrossBridge blossom in Reagan High
School. He’s been best friends with his wife, Jamie, for 11 years, excitedly married for the last 8, and looks forward to
the next 80.

Blain Johnson, Worship Leader
Blain hails originally from the very cold state of Minnesota. He decided at about 10 years old that the cold was not for him
so he loaded up his family and moved them to the much warmer climate of Texas. Decades have gone by and he now considers
himself a Texan at heart. Blain started his vocal training at the very ripe age of 3 honing his skills on classic country
songs (only the wholesome ones). In 1989 God got a hold of Blain's heart and he turned his talents to worship in the music
ministry. He has been a part of or lead worship for the last 16 years. God has blessed him as well with a beautiful wife of
20 years and 4 awesome sons.

Merrily Brown, Creative Team Coordinator
After much begging and pleading, Merrily has been allowed to join the ministry team at CrossBridge. While she has been unwilling to commit to anything boring or traditional, she has promised (sort of) to limit the amount of times she pushes the pastoral staff to its creative limits. While Merrily was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, she has called Texas home for over 20 years. Her professional background includes a mixed bag of graphic & web design, marketing, festival & events planning, music, and theater. Merrily has been blessed with her wonderful husband Randy and enjoys a "yours, mine, and ours" mass of children. (Last count was six!)

Franze Wall, Business Administrator
Franze believes that accounting must always be accurate, so she still uses an Abacus first developed by the Babylonians
circa 300 B.C. You just can’t trust those darn computers! (Actually she recently upgraded to a Dell!) She’s originally
from Waco and was graduated from Baylor with a degree in…accounting! She’s the one who keeps the business side of
Crossbridge moving along. In addition to her work for the church, she’s the VP/Chief Financial Officer of MarketPower
Media here in San Antonio. She’s also currently raising her three boys and an assortment of animals: Chuck (the husband),
Chuck (the son with a ferret) Alex (the son with a parrot) and Sandy (the swimming Yellow Lab).

Jean Giotes, Administrative Assistant
A Texas native, Jean graduated from Baylor University with a BBA in Marketing/Finance. Jean was married to her best
friend, Brad and moved to the East Coast and then went west to settle in Menlo Park, California. Jean pursued Medical Sale
while living out East. The desire to get closer to home came after Jean and Brad had their first child in 1997. So, back
to Texas they came and landed in San Antonio. Jean continued medical sales until the birth of their second daughter. In
2000, Jean became a stay at home mom to two beautiful gifts from God, Megan and Ashley. Brad and Jean have a strong desire
to pursue God’s passion and lead. What an awesome God we serve!
